Mobilisation and service issues rarely wait: a call-up notice, a Military Medical Commission (MMC/ВЛК) decision, delayed pay or a report (raport) that has gone unanswered for months. In such a situation it is important to understand your rights quickly and not to miss deadlines.
We advise and represent persons liable for military service, service members and their family members in dealings with Territorial Recruitment Centres (TCC/ТЦК), military units, MMCs and courts. We work online across Ukraine. Legislation in this area changes several times a year, so we check every position against the current wording on the date you contact us.

from $130How we work in this practice
Assessment first
We study the documents and explain the possible courses of action and the risks of each. If the prospects are weak, we say so before an agreement is signed.
Deadlines under control
Military cases involve many short deadlines: 10 days to appeal a fine decision, limited time limits for going to court. We plan the work so that none of them are missed.
Current wording of the rules
The procedures for conscription, deferrals and payments change often. We check our position against current laws, Cabinet of Ministers resolutions, Ministry of Defence orders and Supreme Court case law.
Remote, but complete
We prepare requests, complaints and claims online and conduct court cases via the Electronic Court system. A lawyer's personal attendance at the TCC or at a hearing is agreed separately.

Frequently asked questions
In brief: how the first consultation works, what a lawyer costs and how we keep your information confidential.
Can I get an online consultation with a military lawyer?
Yes. We hold consultations by video call or phone, and you send documents via messenger or email. Most of the follow-up work is also remote: advocate's requests, complaints and claims are filed electronically, and the lawyer can take part in court hearings by videoconference. So the city you are in usually does not matter.
Can a lawyer get me "released" from mobilisation?
No, and no lawyer can honestly promise that. The grounds for deferral or discharge are set by law, and decisions are made by the TCC, command or a court. A lawyer's job is to check whether you have lawful grounds, support them properly with documents, protect your rights in the procedure and appeal an unlawful decision if there is one.
What should I do if TCC officers stop me?
Stay calm and do not physically resist. Ask them to identify themselves and show their service IDs, and present your military registration document, either on paper or electronically in the Reserv+ app. Do not sign documents you disagree with without adding written remarks. Tell your relatives where you are and contact a lawyer, who will explain the next steps.
What documents should I prepare for the first consultation?
Bring whatever relates to your question: your military registration document or service member ID, call-up notices, offence reports and decisions, MMC certificates and decisions, medical records, reports (raports), orders and replies to your applications. If you have no documents, that is fine: describe the situation in your own words, and the lawyer will tell you what to obtain and how.
How much does a military lawyer cost?
A consultation on mobilisation costs from $45; fees for other services are shown on their pages. The fee depends on the complexity of the case, the volume of documents and the number of court hearings. The court fee is paid separately, although the law provides exemptions for certain categories of persons, including combat veterans. The final price is fixed in the legal services agreement.
